OK, i like to play with everything maxed out with my GTX 580 Asus Matrix i never encountered a single game that i could not play in Ultra besides Crysis 3.
Do you guys think its worth it to upgrade my 580 for a GTX 780 and keep the other components? For future games like BF4 etcccc.... i dont want to change the whole system cause i want to wait MAXWELL

System
I7 2600K Clocked to 4.0
16Gb Corsair 1600Mhz
GTX 580 Matrix Clocked to 1000MHZ
Msi P67A-GD65
Corsair HX1050
Corsair Neutron GTX 240

Will the 2600k bottleneck the 780????(i dont think so)

Multiple answers wanted =D

Thanks

It doesn't matter. With your cpu you will be stuck with pcie 2. Performamce wise the will be no performance difference between pcie 2 and 3 for current generation card.

PCI-E have backward compatible capability. for example cards with PCI-E 3.0 should work just fine on older PCI-E slot (Version 2.x and 1.x)

Yeah go for it, it won't bottleneck.

if you think the performance jump and price are worth it then yes. 650 for a single gpu isn't cheap :)
