Crysis configuration questions

I'm having trouble understanding the system.cfg file in the original Crysis. Game.cfg in crysis 2 is pretty simple, not much there and you just add whatever line you want. But for crysis I don't know where to put them. They have colons in front of them and are seperated strangely.

Colons? Are you sure you don't mean semi-colons? They instruct the interpreter to ignore the line. Here is a good tweak guide for Crysis. It includes editing the .cfg files around page 8.
