Will a gtx 660ti 2gb (non boost) be able to run Battlefield 4 at 1080p?

Yes of course. Probably on high settings with FXAA.

but in battlefield series physx particles are cpu bound just make sure u have good cpu

whatever it is it has its own physx of frostbite still u will need cpu to process

Depending on how much increase of destructable environment, size of maps and number of players it will run almost as BF3 I'd reckon.

yes and currently i have asus gtx770 oc and i5 2500k@stock my fps dips to 19 during heavy explosion so need to atleast oc the cpu to 4.0ghz and monkey bro just go to nvidia control panel and see what is the spelling of physx/physics

BF3 and BF4 use the Frostbite engine, Frostbite uses DICE which in turn use the Destruction 3.0 engine which is the physic's engine that is used in BF3 and BF4. It still has absolutely ah heck all to do with PhysX which is Nvidia's trademarked name for the physic's tech that they bought when they purchased Ageia a few years ago.
