So I finished building a computer recently, and it's working fine, but the rear case fan is not spinning. When I power up the computer, it will spin for a couple of seconds and then stop. It is plugged into the 650 watt power supply and is the fan that comes with the antec sonata III. Please help.

I am using http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/motherboards/des...
This motherboard. However, it is plugged into the power supply right now. Should it be plugged into the motherboard?

see this your board have 2 fan connector one for the back and one front they use 4 pins one so are power monitored so if your fan is connect to this connector and have 4 pins the motherboard will monitor the speed of it when needed so it will spin when the board send it a signal to do so . http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/...
