I have just bought a new GTX 760 to replace my old GTX 560. After I have installed the 760 the desktop freezes on the HP splash screen. I thought that it was a power supply issue so I upgraded to a 900 watt unit but that didn't help. The onboard graphics card that came with the computer works fine as does the 560 when reinstalled so I'm not sure what the issue could be. I have the most recent BIOS for my system so could it be that the card is not compatible with my motherboard or do I have a bad card perhaps? Any help would be great! ...and yes it is plugged in...

My system specs are
Model: p7-1298cb
Processor: AMD A10-5700 APU with Radeon HD Graphics (3.4 GHz)
RAM: 16.0 GB
System: 64-bit Operating System
Motherboard: MS-7778
Graphics: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760

PSU: Sparkle Magna 900W

Hello... Can place your new card in a friends computer to test?
Does HP have any articles or advice for your situation?
Does NVIDIA have any articles or tested motherboards/systems for your situation?
Can you shut off the HP Splash Screen and turn quick boot options off in your BIO's, save settings, So you can read any BOOT-UP messages, if there are any... for hints or clues.
