I purchased i5 4570 and micro atx mobo ga-h87m-d3h with seasonic s12ii 520 PSU. I want to know which size of cabinet is suited for them, because my PSU's height is 3.38 inch approx, which didn't fit in my old cabinet. Second,I want to know about system cooling. how can I remain my all component cool without buying high cost cabinets. I can only afford 30-35$.3rd - hsuggest me some software or utilities for checking cpu, ram, hdd, psu and other componets temperature and their performance.

Solution
Even most mATX cases take full ATX power supplies.

A power supply on the bottom of the case is almost always "better" because it does not have to deal with heat rising in the system. Top mounted power supplies still work, they just sometimes have to deal with extra heat from the cpu/video card(non blower type cards.)

The fan inside the case is so they can use a larger 120-140mm fan(more air with less noise) instead of the old 80mm fans that fit on the back of the older power supply.

Any case that takes a standard ATX power supply will be fine.

Sounds like you may have had a SFX power supply(sometimes improperly called mATX or FlexATX power supplies, but they are not.) in the old system.

Did it look like this?

With something longer like a HX850, case size may be more of an issue, but you power supply is standard ATX size for sure.

Keep the cables clean and have at least 1 fan(120mm or larger if you can) to remove hot air from the system.

For checking the temps, I suggest HWmon.

thanks for precious info, my old psu's height is around 2.7 inch and it is well fitted in my old cabinet. So,now should I buy full ATX cabinet? is that cabinet fit my psu of 3.3.. inch height. and also tell about psu placement in cabinet - upper is better or lower? and in my this psu fan is mounted inside, not in the back.what's that do,because my old have that fan in back.

can I put extra fans later,on cheap cabinets(not cheapest cab.) and other cooling system?

Yes, Fans can be added later, but sometimes cases come with a fan or 2 for very little additional cost :)

does inner mounted fans flow the cool air in the cabinet? or their purpose is something else?

It pulls air from the cabinet(to both cool it self and remove hot air from the case if it is top mounted.).

it does the same job as a normal one. So both power supplies take air from the cabinet to cool themselves.

In vary rare cases, power supplies take outside air and vent into the cabinet(the HP 455oz for example did this), but it is not common.

In some systems(without any case fans) it is the primary means to remove hot air from the case as well(this is less common as most systems now also have a rear case fan to remove heat).

thanks dude,I had no knowledge about that.
so now, where should I place my seasonic s12ii 520 psu - up side or lower side. is it throw cool air in the cabinet? I feel it should place up side (according to its design and fan). I'm confuse. please see this model and suggest me its best placement.

The power supply position depends on the case.

Either way, your power supply will be pulling air out of the case.

So if you have a case with the power supply at the bottom and vents on the bottom on the case that line up with the power supply, you can face it either way. I generally let the power supply take case air because it makes it more easy to clean it with compressed air.

If your case has the power supply on the top, the fan should be face down to pull heat from the case.

Since you are still looking for a case.

Cooler Master Elite 311 - 2175rs or about 33 dollars.

You will need to keep your video cards to 11 inches or shorter to use this case with you mATX board's top PCI-E slot(that is the one you want to use anyway).

You can place the power supply with fan down or up in this case. I would go up, if you want to not have to lay the system down to clean the power supply fan(it has vents on the bottom allowing mounting in either direction.).

This case is also slightly more narrow than many cases. So 120mm cpu coolers will not fit.
