replacement of hard disc drives

have desktop computer with 80gb hard disc drive can i replace this with a 150gb hard disc drive without any further adjustments

Stick the 150GB drive in, copy everything over and change the drive letter to what the 80GB had. Everything should work.
Thouugh not if the 80GB contains your OS, for that you need to go through a more complex process and properly clone the drive.
