Hi

didn't fully built yet ... when i powered on nothing is happening .. what may be the reason ..

i have connected the case fan to power supply directly through molex .. if there is an issue with cpu or mobo , atleast that fan has to run right ? so whats happening

build so far :

PSu to mobo :
8 pin connector
24 pin connector

PSu to sata device:
a optical drive , a hard drive .

data connection
mobo to optical drive and mobo to hard drive ..

ofcourse processor , cpufan , RAM on the motherboard ...

and front panel headers : Hdd led , power led , power switch , reset switch...

Directly connected MOLEX connector to a CASE FAN...

this is the built so far ...

how can i check psu is getting on signal ?

my assumption is the issue is with PSU ... because the case fan has to run with the PSU right ?

there is a easy way look into your motherboards manual an see which two pins are for turning power on, then take a spare jumper or something to conect those two pins togetter for a spit second if it starts then you were not connecting the case power button

yeah , i jus figured out that the CASE Fan's wire is cut ... and the previous starting up issue is i guess the cable that came with psu ... switched the power cord now it s turning on .. though yet to build

is there something i can do about case fans ?
