well yea, I got the 7870xt in hand already. promoting it from my former rig along with monitor and op.sys. the rest will be purchased.

It is a good card and no reason to upgrade.
The ripjaws fit fine under my Hyper 212!

If you can spare the $50 cash: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB for SSD. For more space and similar performance to the Samsung 840 Pro 128GB. If not the Samsung 840 Pro 128GB for SSD. Which you can get for 122.99 with free shipping from NCIX

And also if 750W is enough for you Corsair hx750 from newegg, 109.99 before 20 MIR.

good to hear. I checked some google images to see if it actually fits, mostly there is no problem but I also believe it is dependent on motherboard layout too

what do you guys think about the gryphon series boards? I was actually going to buy a z87-a but then I decided if I am going to get a smaller case (in close future it is possible, something from Bitfenix or Silverstone) I may need a microATX instead. but wasnt really sure if its an upgrade over *-a or *-plus

I have it on Asus P8Z77V-LK and the 212's fan removes easy (clips) so installing or removing ram is easy just take the fan off if overhanging.
