My 670 windforce x3 edition has no end of problems with temps, i settled before for lowering temps by putting it on power limit of 55, this keeps my temps around 70 degrees and below in all games, if i put it on 100 power limit the temps are just too high as i described in other topic.
But my new problem now is suddenly the idle temps are just locked at 50 degrees and above, whilst before they were in the low 30's is there anyone who can help please? :)

normally we use cans of compressed air as it reaches spots a brush wouldn't as well as having much less of a chance to accidentally damage something in the process or create static electricity. they're excellent but expensive. about £10 in london and any shop that sells pcs or pc parts will stock them.

That it was ok yesterday does not mean much, if it is dust, then it could have just today reached a threshold that does not allow proper cooling. another options is that if you have the drivers set to search and...

the good thing is that while certainly annoying it's not much of a reason to worry for the time being, they are certified to work at much higher temps.

Solution
If it's started suddenly it's likely that:
One or more fans have stopped working (take the side off and see they spin).
Someone has knocked the system, perhaps dislodging the cooler.
Something has infected the system and is using the CPU/card-check the GPU use either through the drivers or use GPU-Z, anything over a few percent is not normal for a system at idle.
