I get lag spikes on Minecraft with Windows 8

I get lag spikes on Windows 8, I didn't get them on windows 7 or windows vista, I have tried compatibility mode, but didnt work

What are your Specs?
When you click F3 in game what FPS does it say ( walk around for a few mins and tell me the average range) ? if its over 60 have you got V-Sync turned on?
What Setting are you using in mine craft?
Graphics: Fancy or fast
Render Distance: Tiny, Normal short, Far?
Full screen? On/OFF
Smooth lighting? On,Min, Max
Advanced open Gl? On/OFF

got V-Sync turned on? no
What Setting are you using in mine craft?
Graphics: Fancy or fast
Render Distance: Tiny, Normal short, Far?
Full screen? Off
Smooth lighting? max
Advanced open Gl? On
