So... yeah, this is becoming worse and worse, and reinstalling windows is no longer fixing it. I think this only became a problem when i installed my new RAM. However, it could have been an issue from before.

The system specs:

  • AMD FX-8320 over clocked to 4.5Ghz volt bump to 1.5
AMD Gamer Series DDR3-2133 16GB (properly clocked and volted
    ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
DUAL HIS Radeon HD 7850 IceQ X Turbo in CrossfireX (enabled)
    Corsair AX1200i 12OOw PSU
NZXT Kraken C60 liquid CPU cooler
    NZXT Phantom Case
    Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD 64MB Cache 7200rpm
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64
    Genius GX Gaming Mouse
    Genius GX Gaming Keyboard
16GB USB 3.0 Thumb drive dedicated to Ready Boost (in an attempt to rectify the problem... it failed.)

The problem is, there is a significant delay for everything when loading, windows boots just fine, but afterwards all programs take 1 to 2 minutes to load at all.

I have read on a review that there is a setting in windows to take full advantage of the higher speed RAM clocks, however i can neither find this review nor find any detailed information about this setting either.

programs run JUST fine after the wait to load, but this wait affects web browsing, like clicking a link, you must wait the 1 to 2 minutes before it even begins to load. Same for submitting data in forums and data fields, such as logging in, ETC.

Programs in the start bar when clicked will remain highlighted for a little while, then fade back to normal as if giving up on loading, and then a few seconds later the program loads, clicking a program from the frequently used list in the Start Menu acts as if the icon was not even clicked. but a minute later suddenly loads as if the computers realized there was an an input.

I have explained this as best as i can, my Registry Mechanic and Anti-Virus Zone Alarm Extreme Security by Checkpoint have not identified any problems and do not improve performance.

Thank you in advance for anything.

Well the only thing out of the bat that comes to mind is that the problem might be your network connectivity somehow. Takes you a long time to register and get a IP for example or maybe you have network drives connected which windows wants to re-connect to and that just takes an absurd amount of time. My work computer seems to work in a similar manner although generally i can still browse the net pretty quickly but usually i have to wait a few minutes before things are really usable.

Hdd dying? That or your pirated OS has a virus/rootkit in it that your AV isn't catching. You said reinstalling isn't fixing it anymore so it might be taking some time for the virus to catch ahold. (I'm assuming you already checked the obvious temps.)

@rvilkman: that would make sense if it were only internet related.

@4745454b: i have used a pirated OS, however this same OS has ran perfectly fine in the past, and has had no virus in it, the OS i am using has the Windows Licensing Disabled there is no process to activate my Windows at all. This was a distribution handed out to software developers and OEM system builders. As i would like to point blame at that, i believe the problem is somewhere else as this is installed on several other computers that are easily 50% or less of my computers potential and they all run 200% faster in load reaction time. I do believe this is an issue related to the DDR3-2133 RAM because with the DDR3-1600 I had installed, it ran faster. This is more than likely a Windows 7 Memory access timing error, and i would like to know where to correct this.
