I'm planning on building my first pc and have come up with a list of components, is this an alright (yet cheap) build and will it work?

AMD
Phenom II X4 965 Black

Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

G.Skill 8GBXL Main Memory DDR3 8 GB PC1600 CL9 Ram Kit 2x 4 GB

MSI HD7850 OC AMD/ATI Graphics Card - 2GB

1TB Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 3.5" SATA III Hard Drive - HDD

620W Seasonic S12II-620 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply

(my budget is around £425)

(i chose a higher wattage psu to allow for future upgrading meaning i don't have to fork out as much money in the future)

Yep. If you can pick up an SSD and/or a aftermarket cooler (for OC'ing) for the 965. It games decent still but those 2 changes will really open your system up.

get a cheaper PSU. The Seasonic 620W is great but overkill for this and expensive. Saved money might buy you a fx-6300 + 970 mobo.

Eventually you can even overclock. (You will have to buy a good cpu cooler though)
