I am planning to get a 7770 1GB DDR5 GHz editon.
My specs are :
Core 2 Dual 3.00 GHz
2GB RAM ( Will upgrade to 4 )
INTEL DG31PR ( Mother board )
Nvidia 8600 GT XFX 512 MB DDR2 ( Planning for the 7770 )
According to this website http://support.asus.com/powersupply.aspx
My minimum Power supply is 500W+
Will the GPU work on my PC?
My Nvidia is good but now all those new PC Games coming out like COD Ghost and BF4 , 100% I wont be able to run with least settings.
My monitor is a 19 inch FLAtRON W1934S LG 1440x900.
Thanks in advanced,

Hi - assuming your motherboard has an open pciex16 slot, yes that GPU will work
with your system. If you are unsure of the slot, post your mobo brand/model here and I'll check it for you.
Pretty sure...
Graphics card manufacturers overstate PSU requirements in the attempt (often vain) to account for all the liar-labeled PSU-shaped objects still being sold (e.g. Logisys, Diablotek, Apevia). What brand and model (not just wattage) is your PSU?
The 360W Seasonic G360 or 380W Antec Earthwatts would be sufficient for your system.

Pretty sure your current GPU is in a pciex16 slot, just want to be sure.

In terms of power your ok, just check the PSU & make sure it has at least 1 pcie connector.

I cannot view public media files at work. Although I don't remember specifically, Winbond calls to mind PSU-shaped objects like Apevia.
If A) it has a PCIe power connector (do not use an adapter if it doesn't), AND B) its label claims at least "500W" BUT you treat it like a 300W PSU, it should be sufficient for a HD7770 until you can replace it; cheap PSUs have an alarming tendency to die for no apparent reason, often taking other parts with them into the fiery abyss.
A 380W Antec Earthwatts would be sufficient for your PC as a replacement.
