I have a 500w psu. there is 2 12+ rails one 16A one 18A
my question is. it says it needs at least 20

does that mean 20A on one rail?

Solution
The website shows 94 watts. 94w / 12volts = 7.8333333amps

So mutli rail is fine for you.

I would take a picture of the power supply label if you can(and post it here). I want to know the combined output. Multi rail power supplies do NOT always work by adding rails. Many times Adding rails does not work.

I have seen to many poorly resigned power supplies with all the power on the lower rails.

Here is an example. Note the 2 rails 14(12v1) and 16(12v2), but the combined in only 22.

im sorry, i didnt see anywhere that says amps drawn.

I am not sure what kind of psu it is, nothing I have heard of before

but once again, when it says on the website you need at least 20 amps , do they mean on one +12v rail or is it okay if i have one with 16 and one with 18?
