I am currently building an and gaming system with an amd fx 8350, and i am looking into purchasing a crosshair v. the question i have is: Is the board worth the money for the processor i am using?

My advice, whenever buying a new motherboard, don't get the more expensive or less expensive ones. The motherboards in the middle are the sweet spot. You don't need to spend extra money on a "better" motherboard, unless you want to or need extra space/features. This pretty much goes for all components also.
