want to get some advice from people about what is good and bad.
This is what I have been looking at so far also I want this pc for long-term
CPU: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Generation-i5-3570K-3-40G...
GPU: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/nvidiagef...

PSU: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CX750-Builder-Series-Br...

Hardrive: Sandisk SSD SATA 3 128GB

RAM: http://www.amazon.co.uk/G-Skill-Ripjaws-DDR3-1866-Dual/... (Might want more , not sure if it is needed though)

Computer Case: http://www.amazon.co.uk/CiT-Vantage-Type-R-Gaming-Reade...

I'm not sure about the motherboard but If you could help me that would be great :)

If you are low on budget i5 2500K is just as good as i5 3570K.
GPU, the MSI gtx 760 2gb version is very good, and can be overclocked very well.
PSU is fine too.
SSD: I have no experience with it. :p
RAM is good too
for the mobo i would go for this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Z77-Extreme4-Motherboard-Suppor...
the AsRock Z77 Extreme4 is a good price quality board and SLI works fine on it too, so you have that option open for the future.
