I was watching a youtube vid and I saw an amd a10 5800k crossfire with a 7750 on far cry 3. So I made a pc.(budget) but instead I was using a 6700k and a radeon hd 7750 2 gb( from xfx). I cant run far cry 3 ultra settings and get over 20 fps. But without crossfiring at 720p I get 28-35 fps. can anyone tell me whats going on?

I only thought 6670 could crossfire with 6700k......... Either way, toms has recently done an article that you actually get less stuttering and better performance with a single card than with APU/GPU crossfire. It gives more FPS, but frames render so unevenly that when they hit your monitor the animation is not smooth. So just run with the single 7750 and lower your detail settings to get better fps.

download msi kombustor and run it in full screen mode to see how much each card is contributing. if it's not a fresh driver install, uninstall the old drivers with the utility and do a new install.
