Hi, I have a HP pavilion dv6500t laptop with Intel core2duo t5250 processor. I want to upgrade it to a better processor and SSD. Further, current interface for harddrive is sata 1.5. But I do not have any idea about which processor and SSD will be compatible with it. Please give me some recommendation. Thank you.

You should be able to change your processor as it isn't soldered to the motherboard in your case. Compatability is up in the air with laptops. According to the service manual for your laptop, it's compatable with a t7500 Core 2 Duo a 2.2 GHz, which would probably be quite an upgrade. I'm seeing them for around $10 on ebay...could be a good buy.
