24 pin main power connector missing pin 16

Solution
Pin #16 appears to be a GND pin no matter which way you twist the connector around. There are enough extra GND wires to cover for a single missing one. If your motherboard is screwed to metal studs which are themselves screwed into the motherboard tray, it is also grounded through those.

Edit: or not, forgot about the +4 pin.
You may have a wire missing since over time some of the wires used in the ATX connector have become obsolete.
