I have a HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1224 Im having trouble finding a graphics card that will fit this small case. Doesnt have to be great i just need one that has atleast DirectX 10.1.
Hmm, that is a slim case but I'm not sure what the dimensions are, but I think it may be too small for any GPU that will fit in it. Thankfully I have a potential solution. Your motherboard supports LGA 1155, and according to the manufacturer the board will support an i5-3570k perfectly. The i5-3570k is an excellent CPU and is way
better than your current Pentium CPU. However, the main advantage for you is the built-in graphics. Your current Pentium only uses "Intel HD Graphics" which are crap, and are a lower end version of the Intel HD 2500. The i5-3570k however, has built in Intel HD 4000 Graphics, which honestly is still crap, but it's noticeably much better than your current integrated graphics. The Intel HD 4000 has support for DirectX 11, meaning backwards compatibility with DirextX 10.1. And of course, it should fit seamlessly into your motherboard:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504
