Installing graphics card without installation CD

I can't startup my PC with the card connected because the screen is black, so I'm not able to install the drivers without seeing what I'm doing.

I can't install the drivers before the new graphics card is connected because when it checks the system it's not able to to find compatible graphics hardware.

Does anyone know of any other way I can do this? My installation CD is got mixed up with my brothers CD's, so he has it at his house at the moment.

I doubt your issue is caused by the driver you should be getting a display even without the driver. A couple of possibilities are the video card is DOA or the PSU can't power it. Can you test the card in another system?

Unfortunately I don't have any other pc that I could test this on. But I'm pretty sure the card is fine. My last one did this aswell but back then I had the installation cd
