I have a 3 or so year old motherboard that was in a HP Pavilion desktop before I upgraded it. It's a Foxconn 2AA9 from what I can tell. I tested it a few months ago... maybe even a year and it still worked. I started building a new budget PC with it in it and I tested it before I did too much to it. All I have in it is a 600w Thermaltake TR2 PSU, 2x4gb Kingston RAM, Athlon II x2 250, and am using onboard video. Once I give power to the PSU, I get a green light on the mobo labeled CR5. When I hit the power button, fans spin, but no post. There is an internal buzzer, not buzzing. I haven't tested the PSU or RAM but it would be a pain to do it... If I must I will.
Thank you in advance.
