Can I use my Laptop Win7 on my new PC with no OS

I do not need 2 OS's I just want to take Windows 7 off of my laptop and put it on this PC build. Is it possible to do? Just trying to get out of paying an extra $100.

Correct. Win 7 OEM cannot be transferred from a laptop to a new desktop.

Also, that $100 is what...10% of the total build price?
Just do it.

Doubtful. The OS on the laptop is probably OEM, and as such tied to that motherboard.
