Help Is My Cpu Bottlenecking My Gpu?

I need help i have a Gtx 660oc edition with a Intel core i5 2300 processor. And i keep getting big fps drops. I will have 70 fps then drops down to 50 any replies would help alot!

It certainly could be, but it would depend on the game. In what game(s) do you see this happen?

umm just in the high end games like bf3 crysis 2 metro last light

If you compare the 2300 to the favorite 3570K, you can see a big difference in performance between the CPUs. That said, there's nothing statistically that would say your CPU can't run the games properly.

It is possible that the CPU isn't able to handle the game at the settings you have enabled. Have you tried lowering the game settings to see if the frames stop dropping?

Yes i play on low and used all the settings
