Ram: Corsair Vengeance (2x8) GB DDr3 1600

CPU: Intel Core Ivy Bridge 3.4Ghz LGA 1155

PSU: Corsair 600x

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 660

HDD: WD Black 7200

Can anybody help me out? I would like to actually get this computer up and running

Solution
See If a dead short and the power supply shutting down to protect the system. Pull the gpu and unplug the power to the hard drives. If the system still shuts down check that the CPU cooler plugged into the right port on the mb and it on right. Then unplug case fans to rule out a bad fan. If no joy pull the mb out and with just the mb and one stick of ram see if it run ontop of the desk. If it shuts down try another power supply.

A thing i noticed is my RAM is not compatible with my MOBO. My RAM was given to me second hand by my friend.

I've just ordered compatible RAM. Going to see if that was the issue

So the right RAM came in popped it in, and the same thing kept happening.

The computer will stay on continuously if there is NO ram in the slots, but as soon as 1 is put in it turns on for 15 seconds and shuts off. Then reboots and tries to start itself again, and just keeps going in this cycle until i cut the power from the PSU
