Hey everyone,

I'm putting together my first mid-high end computer. So far I have narrowed some of the components to the list below. What I'm in need here is confirmation that I have made good to solid choices, or in the event of a poorer choice, a suggestion or full on correction to a component better suited to my needs, or better for the build, or best bang for the buck and including suggesting other components to finalize the build.
The catch here is the following: Being a student who travels from college to home and vice-versa every weekend (130km~80miles) I feel more inclined to building a mAtx platform in order to minimize the hassle of weekly relocation. The main use of the computer will be gaming along with college work and hobby/amateur level photo and video editing.

As for the components chosen so far:

GPU: GTX 780
Motherboard: Maximus Gene VI - C2 revision(very open to any suggestions)
CPU: I5-4670k

As for storage, i'm interested in a rather standard SDD + HDD arrangement, with perhaps a second SSD of 60 gigs solely dedicated to cache the HDD.

To be fully honest, i'm not the most savvy guy in the IT area, so i'm looking forward to any and all suggestions.

As a final point, I'll leave here a maximum budget of how much I have to spend, i ask only for everyone to keep in mind that the budget must include a monitor and all peripherals.

Budget - 1850€ (1500£ - 2500$)

(PS: I do apologize if I'm not posting this in the correct section)

I would go for a build like this.

Its ITX, so smaller than MATX and all contained within a very good ITX case. Its got an i7 and 16GB of RAM, which will benefit you in video editing applications and the 780 will just blitz anything when playing at 1080p.
I normally dont recommend CLC coolers like the H100i, but this is one of the few situations where I think they are a reasonable option.

The build you suggested is quite interesting, although I think that an ITX would be restrictive in terms of expansion at a later time should i wish to go for either a complimentary sound card or even an SLI configuration.
