Just noticed recently that my computer is using 6GB of ram with no programs open other than the startup programs when before it was something more like 3gb or so and when I check in the resource monitor to see what is using that much ram the numbers don't really add up. The highest thing is around 90 megabytes and all of the processes total sure don't add up to 6.1 GB. I also ran a full computer scan with Norton Anti-Virus and it found nothing. I'm not really sure what's going on here...And checking by the end of this now it is up to 6.2 and climbing
