Okay so I bought an Asus X202E cause it was cheap. I have a SSD that I want to put in it, but here is where I need some help. The Laptop did not come with any CD's to reinstall windows 8. Now I know the activation key is in the bios, but how do i start the installation once I have the new ssd drive in. I do not have a CD drive, now windows 8 installation disk.

If the answer is that I have to do it over USB, does anyone know where I can download what I need to make a bootable USB. I don't want to buy the OS again seeing how I bought it once already when I bought this laptop.

There is no known source for legally downloading W8 other than the Upgrade version for which your OEM Product Key is invalid.
You could perhaps install by creating a Windows Installation Media
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media
You'll need an 8 gig USB and your Product Key. The key can be obtained by downloading and running Belarc Advisor.

I haven't tried this, let us know how you get on. Of course you'll use your Asus to set it up.. Once created set your Boot order to USB 1st. Meanwhile if I get time today I'll try it on a 'practise' machine...
Edit
Just discovered the link is similar to that of the one for Upgrade version, so it enables you to d'load full...

Wintoflash. Creates bootable USB media from original installation media. You can get any image file available for Windows installation, and as you have your license key, just may need to try a few because OEM are different key sets from Volume License and from retail, etc. But if you find image of installation that is compatible, just use WinToFlash to create USB installer. I have done this plenty of times.
