I'm deciding between two gtx 760 gpus: the Asus Direct CU II OC Edition and the Gigabyte 760 OC Edition. I can't tell which is better and why it is better. Help please?

I believe the Gigabyte OC (Windforce, right?) 760 will be a better option for a couple reasons.
1. Somewhat higher factory overclock, so will run faster out of the box.
2. Thinner card, allowing for better cooling if running in SLI.

The Gigabyte does indeed a have higher clock speed (1085 vs 1006Mhz) due its three fans making a good amount faster than the Asus. The only thing to watch out for here is the card's length. At 11.6 inches this requires a pretty big case so make sure to check if you can even accommodate it. The Asus the other should in fit in 99% of standard cases. (8.9 in) The Gigabyte also uses an 8 +6 Pin connector which requires a pretty beefy PSU especially if plan on SLI now or later on. In terms of brand Gigabyte is known for making reliable cards with powerful fans. (Good For Overclocking)

My case is a Corsair 300R windowed, so I think I have enough space. My PSU is Corsair HX850. Could you guys tell me if the PSU is good enough? I am pretty sure that the case will hold the card though.

That'll be more than enough. The minimum power requirement for a 760 is 500 watts, and an individual card takes about 170 watts.

850 is enough juice for that card and 2-Way SLI.
The 300R is definitely big enough to hold pretty much any card. (17 inches max) so your fine in both regards.
Good luck and Happy building!
