i had this cpu for almost 5 years now.
never oc it.
i have an EX58-EXTREME Motherboard
i bought the mb the same day so almost 5 years.
i'm thinking about upgrading my mb to an Asus Rampage III.

so do you recommend upgrading my cpu and with it a new better motherboard, or keeping the cpu for a couple more years and just buy the asus rampage III.

Considering that your not upgrading the processor with it, your not going to notice much of a difference. Definitely not enough of a difference to justify the purchase.

i have GTX 570 but i'm upgrading it to 770.
i think that i'm going to wait for the next gen, but do you really recommend staying with my mb ? is it not a bit too old ?
