Ok, So for the last idk 4+ months i've been having internet disconnects. (Modem Loses connection and lights turn off).
These disconnects can happen 10+ times a day. And can last for up to 7 hours without internet reconnecting.

The only solution i have found is - when it disconnects i unplug the Cable (aux?) and wait like 5 seconds and plug it in and it connects and all lights on the modem start back up and i have internet. But this doesnt last long it disconnects so many times. If i just leave the modem alone it stays off (disconnected) with lights blinking (As if its trying to reconnect) for hours and hours. Its got to the point where im going to flip and lose my mind. Its like a curse.

I've tried moving modem / router to different place in the house. no luck
Ive tried removing router all together and still disconnects.
There is not one thing wrong with my computers. I've unplugged them all and the internet still goes out.
I've pretty much tried everything i've read on google ect and no luck.
Ive also tried connecting modem alone outside (to see if its my house wiring ) No luck.

Also over the years, This seems to happen in the summer time, Specially when its hot out. Idk if there is anything with this but ive just noticed this.
My neighbors internet doesnt go out, i use theres and no problems.

Any Solutions or anything else i can try??
Anything, like i dont know what the hell it is. Im almost certain its with the provider (Cox) but i hate calling them and speaking to support. There about as dumb as my sister. I've thought about having someone come out to the house and see if they can find out whats wrong but really dont think thatll help.

The modem is farly new and i dont think its the modem. But i could be wrong. But yet again ive read so many posts of people replacing this and that and i dont wanna go down that route ive tried to eliminate as much of that as possible by previous things ive tried.

Please help, i beg you.

If you are using your own modem and not the service provider's, then it could be that the one you own is not compatible with your ISP's.

I just had AT&T DSL install their line to my house and I was using my buddy's DSL modem. It was taking forever to connect and sync to AT&T's network. I called up AT&T and they sent out a technician. The technician used a modem that was AT&T compatible and my internet work just fine.
