Keep current AMD CPU/Mainboard or Upgrade to Intel?

My current system uses a 870A-G54 (FX) Motherboard with my proud Phenom II x4 980

But I have been thinking about upgrading to an Intel system. I figured if i could get away with selling both my Motherboard and CPU for around $240-ish i can turn around and use that money on a AS Rock Intel Z75 PRO3 motherboard with a Core-i5 3350P for $255

What do you think of this idea? And what would you suggest I got instead? Or should I just stick with my AMD setup?

I doubt you could sell that for $240

For that price you can get a more powerful brand new FX 6300 and a new AM3+ motherboard .
