hi guys. i currently have an a8 5600k and im planning to buy a discrete video card. will my a8 5600k bottleneck a 7850? and will it at least 35 fps on crysis 3 ultra settings at a reso of 1366x780p thanks

Its is good Config.
A8 5600k is good cpu but R7850 will never Bottlenecked by a A8 5600k
Your System is Good Its Work Fine You will Got 30+ Fps in Crysis 3 With high Setting In 1366*780p

The core performance of the A8 will perform well with 7850 or 660 or 7870.

what is the best video card i can buy without my cpu bottlenecking it and at the same time wont overkill my monitor thanks!

It's a much better CPU at $20 more, however, you have to buy an AM3+ mobo, which is different from the FM2 mobo the A8 uses. So, you will have to upgrade a lot more for this.

I don't think you'll need it for now though, as at that resolution, Crysis 3 will run at high/ultra at 30fps+

it depends upon your psu what it can handel

im thinking of getting a 7850 or maybe buy a mobo with crossfire support. and go with a 7770 crossfire since i can find a used 7770x2 for the same price of the 7850. ill just sell my mobo so i can get a mobo with xfire support by adding just a few bucks. and i also wanna stick with my procy because they said buying an fx 6300 or an i3 3220 wont be a good upgrade. and if i upgrade to an i5 or 8320 it would take me another $170 here in my country. thanks!

i forgot to tell that my budget for a gpu is $200 that is the price of a 7850 here in the philippines. if i sell my mobo ill just need to add another $20 for the new mobo so i can live with that unlike getting a new cpu

u should upgrade u r cpu first then go for gpu unless u spending u r money in a pond u should upgrade cpu I suggest i5 4670k or budget wise fx 8350 with a decent 7770 will run everything on max

clearly the one with 7850 is better.
you can see the 7850 with a recorder goes about 44-60 fps
while the 8350+7770 goes about 43-55

hi. will a 6870 perform better than a 7850 or at least close to it? because i just found a 6870 which is $50 cheaper. can it run crysis 3 on medium to high with my 1366x728 monitor? thanks

the 7850 is 20% faster than a 6870

I have an AMD a8 the first one that came out, the FM1 sockets. Later i bought a 1920x1080 Monitor and i Run Crysis 3 50/60fps at maximun settings with a hd 7850 1gb version, but only with 2x antialiasing if you go 4x it'll drop down a lot, but not big deal for me. You can get nice decents 7850 use cards on ebay for $100/$120
