i already upgraded some things which are
ram is now x 4 -4 GB=16 GB Kingston hyper x
CPU heat sink is a Deep cool frost win twin tower design
Power supply is Gamer Series Cool Power 980 w
and everything else is stock
and i cant play a lot of games on mid or Higher setting without a Blue Screen Of Death freezing lagging fps issues
now i need to upgrade so figured some things out but need advice on some components i cant decide on

as for a mother board i cant find a good one i looked at a lot but all had a lot of negative reviews so i ca not chose on

and is my cooler fine or should i get water cooling
now i do not know what else i need to upgrade if i need to
my needs would be high end gaming like bf3 on max setting and will be able to play newer games on max setting with no fps issues i will settle for at least some mid/high but i want no problems/issues to pop up
only doing this because i am switching from console gaming to PC due to my Friends are and i am on PC more then consoles
need some help will be much appreciated because i am not good with picking PC parts
and i not pick everything so what ever you recommend for my needs i will be getting lol
my spending limit is only 500$ for this month that's what i have to spend ATM so preferably want a CASE and GPU first as to what else with that i do not know but i am only at $249.97 so another $250 left to spend
