Will my GPU work on a 32' LED TV?

I have a Geforce GTX560 DirectCU and I was wondering if the GPU is powerful enough to play video games on at med-high and at the same time watch something on my 17' monitor??

Wow, a 32 foot long television? I had no idea they made those haha. Obviously you meant inch, but inches are specified by (") while feet are specified by ('), at least in the states.

As for your question, television size makes no difference. It actually could be a 32 foot television and it wouldn't necessarily matter. What matters is the resolution. If your television's native resolution is something huge like 4K (3860x2160), which it probably isn't unless you remember dropping something close to $2k or more for it, then no you wouldn't be able to play...

If your television's native resolution is something huge like 4K (3860x2160), which it probably isn't unless you remember dropping something close to $2k or more for it, then no you wouldn't be able to play many games on it and still get good frame rates.

Going to something more realistic, what's your monitor's resolution and how does it compare to your television's resolution? If your monitor's resolution is something high but more commonplace like 1080p (1920x1080), while your TV's resolution is actually something lower like 720p (1280x720; however most 720p TV's have a higher native resolution than that like 1440x900), then you can expect your games to have a performance increase because your GPU doesn't have to supply as much information to it, but that means the picture won't be as sharp.

However, as you may have guessed, if your TV's resolution is higher than your monitor's you can expect a performance decrease, but the image would be sharper. By how much there's a performance decrease would depend on the difference in resolutions and the game. Same holds true if you were getting a performance increase.

As for whether or not you could watch something on your monitor like a movie you downloaded or a YouTube video, while at the same time playing video games on your TV, unless your GPU or CPU is absolutely struggling with the game in question then you can totally expect yourself to be able to play while watching.

As for other questions you might have, like finding out what your TV's native resolution is, then you can google the name or model of it and you'll probably find an online retailer for it that can tell you.
