Hi there community. I really need some help in choosing a monitor. The three options I am looking at currently are:

Dell u2412m - 24 inch
Acer S275HLbmii S Series 27 inch
AOC I2757FH 27 inch

I will be doing photo/video editing, and graphic design, photoshop, zbrush etc stuff like that. I will also be doing casual gaming like league of legends, world of tanks, and maybe some bioshock etc, so I'm not looking too concerned about massive refresh rates. I will also have a second cheapo monitor to have internet, tv on in the background etc whilst working. So that's my set-up taken care of!

Now I keep getting drawn to the dell because of the colour reproduction, but it lacks HDMI, the Acer and AOC are both 27 inchers but lack DVI. There are also 23 and 24 inch IPS monitors on amazon for around the 120-150 mark. Will I see the benefit with the dell? Will the 27 inchers be too big? I am just stuck with decisions. Budget is about £230 as I have vouchers on amazon.

Could someone help me please with an objective decision? Or do you know any other monitors out there suitable for what I need? I'm thinking 23 inches at the least.

Thanks all.

Steve

Hi - I'd go with the Dell U2412 in this situation. It has as high a user satisfaction rating as I've seen.
It is also 1920x1200 (16:10 aspect) vs 1920x1080(16:9 aspect), of the lower priced 24's,
so more pixels per sq inch.

If you are photo editing, etc., you want the truest colours and best quality image within your
budget, and the U2412 would be my choice.

Check the user satisfaction:

Been there and done that, they all have 4-5 star reviews. was hoping someone could give me real world examples, or an alternative recommendation.
