hi i bought new ram cards ddr3 2 by 4g and when i put them in and turn it on it was making beeping nosie and it wouldnt boot up.

i also bought a xfx R7970 double dissipation and when i put it in my computer and plug the dvi to the graphices card it wont show picture then when i connect the dvi cable to my mother board it will run and show picture how could i install the card.

Solution
Take the GPU and DRAM out - connect to on board video and reset the CMOS - instructions in your mobo manual. Install 1 stick in slot 1 closest to the CPU - if it works, shut off and add second stick, (probably in slot 3 - sort of hard to do this not knowing your mobo or CPU), if it doesn't then try the other stick in slot 1, if still nothing prob bad mobo or CPU - pull the cpu and look for bent/broken pins or try same procedure using slots 2-4) If both sticks now work in 1-3 shut down and try installing the video card

Fix one thing at a time.
Take out the external vid card. Ensure the RAM actually works
Then move on to installing the vid card.

:??:
Return the thing to a fully working state - remove the new RAM and video card
Connect the monitor to the onboard graphics
Boot - Does it work?
If no, you have other issues
If yes, power down and install the new RAM
Power up. Does it boot?
If no, you have faulty or incorrectly installed RAM. Fix that.
If yes, continue on to installing the video card.

What if?
Then you troubleshoot why it isn't working.

Can you even get past POST without ram? "does it boot" You can't boot without ram. I've never tried booting without ram. It should go thru POST and check everything and then say you're missing ram. That's what I think will happen.
