Here's the part list

I went with amd because in my experience amd and intel have almost no performance differences and probably will be changing the 6 core processor to a 8 core one and possibly a 7870 instead of the 7790, of course both of those depend on the amount of money i get to spend on it.
So is it good for gaming, video rendering, and recording?

AMD has really lost it on their CPU's, they consume way to much power, for example: 9590 consumes around 127W, compared to intel's 4770K which is around 84W and they have pretty much the same performance, unless your application uses more then 4 cores, which is impossible.
I would recommend the i5-4670, and a Z87 Motherboard despite your past experiences with AMD and Intel.
