Is this a good apu build? My budget is $450.

CPU: AMD A10-5800K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard ($56.00 @ Amazon)
Memory: Patriot Signature 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($52.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($55.00 @ Amazon)
Case: NZXT Gamma Classic (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($31.49 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 430W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24F1ST DVD/CD Writer ($16.00 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (OEM) (64-bit) ($88.90 @ Amazon)
Total: $450.36

I already have a 1920x1080 monitor, although I wouldn't mind playing at 720p if I have to. I play games like Minecraft, COD, and I'll probably get BF4 and Watchdogs when they come out.
I have a keyboard and mouse.

I know the PSU is overpriced, but you can typically get it for like $20 on a good day.

Solution
1. Do not go for the APU
2. Go for this build instead. It is much more damn powerful than the APU
3. Drop the optical drive for now, you can add it later and you can install the Operating System from pen drive very easily.

Anyways here is the build I suggest :

+ 7770 is much more powerful than the AMD's Integrated graphics
+ Can offer decent performance in 1080p (Med, 30+ FPS) and awesome performance in 720p (High 30+ FPS)
+ 1TB HDD is the bare minimum for today
+ No quality compromises here at all. Everything is top notch quality PSU, RAM,.. everything.. (of course considering the price)

I hope this helps. Sorry man.. but I cannot go any more lower. Then you would have to compromise on the quality which is not good, so spend 15 bucks extra and go for this build instead. You would be very happy by it.

I hope this helps. Take a look at the build and tell me what you think about it. Your feedback would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for using the forum. Otherwise many people go and buy what I call not so good builds. You know what I mean. Anyways make yourself comfortable with the forum. This is a good place to be.

I selected the same case but we were already above the budget, so I stuck with the Thermaltake case.
