I have an i5-3350P in an Asus CM6730-US005S desktop, and the worst part about it is that the motherboard that the desktop comes with only supports ONE model graphics card, a horrible AMD Radeon 7470. So I want to replace the motherboard, so I can get a new graphics card. My ultimate question is, which one should I go with, the MSI H61M-E33 W8, or the MSI H61M-P31? Another question is, will this fit in my desktop and are they compatible with i5-3350P? Thanks in advance!

as long as it has PCI-E slot, it will supports any model of graphics card like invidia. check this..http://
Yes they are compatible with the cpu socket LGA1155
go for MSI H61M-E33 W8 if your system running Windows 8
if u want to get a new graphics card, make sure that it is compatible with your power supply. just check the requirements of GPU.

If you are the one who will install,First check your current motherboard inside the case. and search on asus website. coz MSI H61M-E33 W8 has Form Factor: M_ATX. I build my Own desktop. im sorry but im not sure about the casing of prebuilt desktop. check this http://www.tipidpc.com/viewtopic.php?tid=261157. i hope it would help.

And will it bottleneck? Are any of the parts hindering some of the other parts' performance?

Also will a corsair cx600m be sufficient as a power supply?

I don’t recommend users to update the BIOS if their system is already running normally.
BIOS Update is just improving some parts of motherboard.
PSU, depends on your GPU requirements.

Mobo has 1 PCI Express gen3 x16 slot
GTX 650 TI - Bus Support: PCI Express 3.0
I think its compatible.

Can the mobo take 6 GB (one 4 and one 2) of ram or does it have to have an even amount on each module?

no problem as long as it the same. example: (DDR3-1333 4GB + DDR3-1333 2GB = DDR3-1333 6GB)
I tried that in my Laptop. it works fine

Thank you very much! Didn't want to ask those questions altogether because I didn't want to burden you.

It depends on GPU performance to get high/ultra even ultimate settings at high FPS, Now im using Asrock H77M/ ASUS hd7790 oc edition (dual graphics), i5 3470 & 1333MHz RAM...i can play tomb raider 2013 max fps 70 above at ultimate settings
No problem with 1600 mhz.
