AS stated I'm switching to a 650 Ti from a AMD HD 7570 and I keep encountering a BIOS error. 6 beeps and an orange flashing light (on a HP), I looked it up and seems to be a "Critical Component failed to initialize" error, what steps should I take before trying again?.

I have minimal experience modifying computers and this was my first real encounter with changing hardware.

My PSU is a Dynex 520W ATX and I have a PCI-E 2.1 x16 slot as far as my knowledge goes I'm led to believe that the 3.0 on the 650 Ti was reverse compatible.

If you need any more information I'm more than happy to find it I just don't want to fill up this post with random information.

Thank you for your time.

Solution

Found the issue, seems that the H8 Series has a BIOS level hardware lock and required legacy boot to bypass it. Simple enough but not really obvious.
Thanks for the help though, hope this helps other people too.
