I'll probably need to get a new card then... The thing in there now is 8 years old lol. As for the CPU I should be able to find the solution somewhere in the BIOS. Thanks for the info.
It's an issue with all older cards, since Windows 8 breaks OpenGL functionality, but apparently you can get around it doing this? ( http://www.lockergnome.com/windows/2012/09/29/make-your-old-graphics-drivers-work-in-windows-8/ )
and in the opening menu of the BIOS there should be a few speed'ometers with the dial pointing at different points, just click the one in blue with the dial pointing towards the bottom left and that SHOULD make it work, but like I said, I've never used the new BIOS.
