Do I still need a dedicated sound card?

I just purchased the the Razer Tiamat 7.1 and I recently purchased the MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming motherboard with Sound Blaster cinema 7.1. My question is will I still need a dedicated sound card or is the onboard sound sufficient

The motherboard has one of those integrated sound cards that's separated from the rest of the board and its supposed to be like a dedicated sound card I can't think of the name of it.
