Hi all, I am a graphics card noob. But my birthday is coming up soon and I really need a new PSU and GPU. My PC is a Acer Aspire M3450 with an AMD 8120 FX 3.1 GHz CPU and 16 GB of Ballistix RAM. My current PSU is only 300w. And my graphics is an AMD Radeon HD 7350.

I'm looking for a GPU for gaming. Obviously I'll need a new PSU as well. But I'm looking for the best I can get in a graphics card for about $150-200 give or take 20-30 bucks. And just a regular PSU that can handle the GPU and have a little headroom for this processor. If you could please help me pick out something VERY decent for gaming. I'm so tired of having to run MMO's in low quality. Please keep price in mind. But I need a GPU/PSU combo from Newegg. If you're not busy I'd love to see your price recommendation, and then your "dream recommendation", like if I could spend more than I said. Any help is greatly appreciated. Let me show you what someone else recommended and please give me feedback on these two.

Will these two be enough to play a lot of games in High quality? Please let me know if there's something better. I'm just not good enough with GPU's to know what I'm doing. I don't understand what DDR3 DDR5 and all that stuff is for. I just want something that is going to fit in my pc and work great. I'm so thankful for these forums. Please someone that knows graphics cards REALLY well, help me out. *hug* tyty!

Yes, your PC can use that. There's more in a graphics card than memory; stream processors and core clock speed are important as well. The 7870 is quite a bit better than what you posted.

Is the PSU I posted enough for that new card (the sapphire one) as well?

It's not particularly high quality, but it does have enough wattage.

I'd go for this instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028
