I am getting total; war rome 2
And looking at the cpu benchmarks how can anybody play the game at all? I have the amd 8350. But even if i had the best intel its still not even 60fps on 1080p and i am using my 2560x1440p monitor. So i am really discouriged. I have the gtx 680 2gb.

I did my own benchmark by rite clicking and on the game in steam and did cpu bench mark i got 26fps when it was done

Video card choices are all about how much you want to spend, since you currently have a GTX 680 the choices for an upgrade are limited. The 680 is a top quality card so it should be still ok to get decent frame rates.
The 8350 should overclock to 5ghz and that should help but you'll need a good CPU cooler.
Best thing to do would be to overclock the 8350 as much as you can and then get a new video card, AMD just lowered the 7990 and then there's the GTX Titan with it's massive 6gb frame buffer and that will come in very handy with the 2560x1440 screen resolution that you have.
