EVGA GTX 660 SC going to boost clock rather than staying at base clock

So I was playing Sleeping Dogs, when I noticed that my room got pretty warm, so I checked the air coming out of the GPU and it was very hot. I opened up EVGA Precision X and the temps were at 85 °C and it was running at boost clock. It does not normally do this when I play Sleeping Dogs, even when I play for hours or more. Is there a way I can prevent it from doing that or is there ways I can keep my GPU from running high temps. I have a AZZA Solaris with one back panel fan, one side panel fan and a fan on the front for the HDD. Any recommendations would be helpful.

85C is fine, you want it to run at boost clocks for the best FPS. Besides, you don't really see much difference in temps unless you make a dramatic change to clocks, 50Mhz or so isn't going to have a noticeable impact on temps.

You are good up to 90C, if you are worried about it getting hot just set up a more aggressive fan profile.
