yup these are compatible..but if you are buying a graphic card... dont go for APU..rather go for a CPU like FX6300 or Fx 8350 if it fits in your budget..

swap out the video card for this for 5 dollars more, you get incredible boost in performance.

Agree on the APU. You should go for a AM3+ motherboard and a FX CPU instead. Since you are using a dedicated GPU going for a APU does not make alot of sense to me. You would get better performance going for say a FX-6350 or better and a AM3+ board.
