psu overkill need info please!

hi all, i'm starting to look for a new gpu and am seeing some new requirements as far as amps go. i've recenly found a cooler master v1000 for 159.99 and this seems like a great deal with ample amps. my question is this: good psu? and is there such a thing as too much wattage? i will be likely be getting two gtx 770's so i know it's hungry but what should i really be looking for?

ok so maybe an 850w? currently i have a 675w so i don't think sli would work well.
  3. I'd recommend a Seasonic PSU if it's within budget. They are one of (if not) the best available on the market and a 850W model will handle GTX 770 SLI with ease.

If Seasonic models are out of your budget, Corsair are a solid alternative.
