I just put together my new computer, when I run a lot of applications simultaneously the computer will crash. When I run a graphic intensive application the computer will crash, Fallout New vegas works perfectly fine. Most games work for a few seconds then the PC will suddenly cut out, no FPS drop, no blue screen, the computer instantly restarts. Dota was making my PC crash at first from the menu, I removed one stick of Ram and it now starts for a few seconds with some missing textures then the game will crash, leaving the system on.

Is it ok that I have placed my PSU upside down?

Here are my Specs:

AMD Radeon HD 6970
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz
OCZ Mod-XStream Pro 600Watt PSU
x2 4gb Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333 ram
ASUS/SABERTOOTH/Z87

What do you mean "upside down"? Is the fan able to keep the PSU cool?
Are you overclocking the CPU or RAM?
Other than that, check your RAM timings and voltage in the bios match your Corsairs (should be 9-9-9-24 at 1.65V).
